The bottom two rows show mutations (shown as green alphabets) introduced in the MTTP sequence and their consequences on interactions with miR-30c. (B) Cos-7 cells were transfected with Scr or miR-30c as described in Methods and Figure 2. Subsequently, cells were transferred to other wells and transfected with luciferase expressing plasmids harboring either WT MTTP 3΄-UTR or different mutants described in Panel A.
