Data show the effects of an I-3R antagonist (KU14R) on allantoin-induced blood glucose reduction (A) and insulin secretion (B) in Wistar rats. Values are expressed as the mean and SEM from each group of eight rats. Vehicle (0.9% NaCl in distilled water) was given at the same volume. *P < 0.05 and **P < 0.01 versus data from the vehicle-treated control.
