Correlation between the rates of ATP and glycogen changes in presence of insulin according to the perfusate glucose concentration. The rates are expressed in nmol·min-1·g-1. The equation for the linear correlation is fluxglycogen = 72.543(fluxATP) + 172.08, R2 = 0.98. To obtain a positive net flux of glycogen (net synthesis), the net ATP consumption must not exceed 2.4 nmol·min-1·g-1.
