The neoplastic cells have an abundant cytoplasm either finely and homogeneously granular, or containing multiple small cytoplasmic vacuoles or some widely scattered hyperchromatic variable-sized nuclei, or rich endoplasmic reticulum, or appearing polyribosomes and monoparticulate glycogen.
