Immunoblot analysis of protein levels (A) and gene expression levels (B) of TNF-α and IL-6 in liver of HFD/STZ-induced diabetic rats. Levels of TNF-α protein and IL-6 protein were measured normalized against α-tublin, and expressed as fold of control. The mRNA expression levels were determined by quantitative RT-PCR, normalized against β-actin, and plotted relative to those of diabetic control rats. Data are expressed as means ± SE, (n = 7 for each group).
