Evaluation of two FXR-stimulating bacteria. After cells were cultured in white 96-well plates with density of 5 × 104/well for 24 h, bacterial culture supernatants were introduced for 24 h incubation before measurement of chemiluminescense by administration of luciferase assay reagent: (a) FXR activation by culture supernatants of B. dorei and E. limosum, (b) FXR activation by culture supernatants sampled at various times, (c) The quantity of two bacterial cells at different times.
