Food consumption and BMI in mice fed high or low fat diet containing varying levels of vitamin D 3 . Twenty-four week old male mice were randomly sorted into low, standard (STD) or high vitamin D3 supplementation groups and followed for 24 weeks. Body mass index a for each mouse was determined weekly using mouse length measurements from week 24 b. Mouse length endpoint measurements reflect the distance from nose to the base of the tail.
