Total mRNA was extracted from the livers of HFD-fed TET1-KO and WT mice and mRNA levels were determined by Q-PCR and normalized to β-actin. The mRNA of key genes for fatty acid oxidation in the liver of TET1-KO mice and WT mice and the L02 and HepG2 cells transfected with siRNA were detected by Q-PCR and normalized to β-actin (a,b,c). Western blot of PPARα, ACOX1, CPT1A and CD36 in TET1-KO mice and WT mice and the L02 and HepG2 cells transfected with siRNA (d,e,f).
