L-carnitine regulates the serum levels of inflammatory cytokines and affects glycolipid metabolism in CT26 tumor-bearing cachexic mice. At the end of the experiments, ELISAs were used to check the serum levels of A IL-6, B IL-1 and C TNF-α. A biochemical analyzer was used to check the blood levels of D glucose, E triglycerides and F total cholesterol. Data were plotted as the means ± SEM. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001.
