Adipokine and cytokine secretion of adipocytes treated with bio-active compounds. Supernatants of HPAd, cultured in the presence or absence of EPA, Lyc and Res or combinations thereof, were collected at day 8 of differentiation and subsequently analysed on the LiquiChip® workstation. The accumulation of the following adipokines: adiponectin (Adipo, a), interleukin-6 (IL-6, b) and 8 (IL-8, c), monocyte chemotactic protein 1 (MCP-1, d), hepatic growth factor (HGF, e) and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1, f) was measured in media after 5 days conditioning (day 4–8), as compared to Diff CTRL set as 100%.
