Synergistic action between riboflavin deficiency and PA load in altering the expression of lipid metabolism related enzymes in HepG2 cells. HepG2 cells were cultured in media containing various concentrations of riboflavin (0, 3, 12, 24 nM) in the presence or absence of PA (10 μM) for 96 h. The protein levels of FAS (A), ATGL (B) and CPT1 (C) were analyzed by ELISA methods. Data are shown as mean ± SD, and experiments were performed in triplicate. *P < 0.05 versus NC; Comparisons between various concentrations of riboflavin (0, 3, 12, 24 nM) in the presence of PA (10 μM) versus the absence of PA were statistically significant at #P < 0.05
