Synergistic action between riboflavin deficiency and PA load in reducing the activities of antioxidant enzymes in HepG2 cells. HepG2 cells were cultured in media containing various concentrations of riboflavin (0, 3, 12, 24 nM) in the presence or absence of PA (10 μM) for 96 h. The activities of GR (A), SOD (B), and GSH-Px (C) in HepG2 cells were determined using corresponding kits. Data are shown as mean ± SD, and experiments were performed in triplicate. *P < 0.05 versus NC; Comparisons between various concentrations of riboflavin (0, 3, 12, 24 nM) in the presence of PA (10 μM) versus the absence of PA were statistically significant at #P < 0.05
