Expression of interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC) in the duodenum, jejunum and ileum of rats from DIO and DR groups (n = 6). ICC was determined by an antibody against c-kit. Positive cells of C-kit-in the circular muscle and myenteric plexus are shown the brown color and designated as ICC-IM and ICC-MY, respectively.
