Shown are correlations of the area under curve (AUC) for GTT with the mRNA expression level of OPN, TNF-a, MCP-1 and IL-6 in (A) white adipose tissues and (B) the liver. Data were derived as described in Methods. Spearman partial correlation coefficients for the AUC and each of the indicated pro-inflammatory cytokines were calculated after adjustment for interventions.
