Effect of S. indicus extract and 7 HF on TNF-α-induced phosphorylation and degradation of IkB-α. Briefly confluent HUVEC monolayers were pretreated with 15 μg/mL S. indicus extract or 3 μM 7 HF for 1 h followed by stimulation with 0.1 nM TNF-α for the time points. The cytosolic extracts were prepared (as described in materials and methods) and then analyzed by Western blot analysis with a primary antibody against human IkB-α (a) phosphorylated IkB-α Κ (b) (3 independent experiments)
