aP2-Cre mediated MTP ablation reduces expression of genes involved in adipogenesis. Gene expression in the adipose tissue of Mttp ^fl/fl and A-Mttp ^−/− mice was quantified by qPCR and levels were normalized to 18S RNA. Mice were fed HFD for 24 weeks. After overnight fasting, animals were sacrificed, adipose tissues collected, and isolated inguinal fat adipocytes were used for total RNA extraction using Trizol reagent. cDNA was synthesized and levels of RNA were determined by qPCR.
