Markers of beige adipocytes in vitro. The transcripts for FGF21 a, P2RX5 b, PAT2 c, CITED1 d, CAR4 e, TBX1 f, CD137 g, and TMEM26 (h) were evaluated in white and beige adipocytes in culture treated with isoproterenol (+ Iso) or without (− Iso) for 6 hrs. before harvesting the cells. Transcripts were normalized to white – Iso. Values are means ± SEM (n = 3).
