The expression of proteins involved in plasmalemmal lipid transport i.e. FAT/CD36 (a), FATP5 (b), FATP2 (c), FABPpm (d). The cells were incubated with enterolactone (50 μM) alone or combined with palmitic acid (0.5 mM) for 16 h as it was described in detail in see ‘Materials and Methods’ section. The protein expression in HepG2 cells was measured using Western blot method. The data are expressed as the mean ± S.D.* P < 0.05 significant difference vs control group
