Lipid accumulation in the liver after 20 weeks on HFD. Lipid composition of the liver was analyzed by HPLC–MS/MS after 20 weeks on control or HFD diet. The concentration of TG, DG and CER subtypes (A, F, K), their total amount (B, G, L), the proportion of saturated and monounsaturated TGs, DGs and CERs relative to total amount (C, D, H, I, M, N) and the ratio of monounsaturated and saturated lipids were determined (E, J, O). Values are reported as mean ± SD; n = 5 in each group. The p value was determined by multiple T-test (A, F, K) or unpaired T-test (all the others). *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001
